"Gastroscopy examination 11th July 2013"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

Anything else?

I attended the endoscopy dept for a gastroscopy examination. I was immediately put at ease by the receptionist who was friendly and polite. I cannot stress strongly enough my praise for the staff in this department and in particular the Practitioner Nurse. I felt at ease and well cared for during the short procedure. In these days of complaint culture, I feel strongly that praise should be given and recognised where appropriate. I do hope that this review will be taken seriously and fed back to the staff concerned.

Response from North Tyneside General Hospital

Dear David, What a lovely note - many thanks for finding the time to write it. I will of course ensure that your kind feedback is shared with the team concerned. Like you, I believe that we should take every opportunity to celebrate the contribution of all our staff who work incredibly hard every day to provide care of the highest standard. I know just how much it means to them to hear that their efforts have made a difference and this feedback means most of all when it comes directly from the patients and families they care for. Thank you. With best wishes, Annie Annie Laverty
