Response from Russells Hall Hospital

Thank you for taking the trouble to give us your feedback about your visit to Accident and Emergency. We welcome all feedback and would like to assure you that all comments are taken seriously and acted upon as part of our ongoing commitment to improving patient experience. The Dudley Group is committed to providing the very best possible care for our patients and, therefore, it is very disappointing to hear your experience was not a wholly positive one. Our staff do work under pressure at times but there is never an excuse for not smiling or giving our patients a negative experience when they are in our care. It is difficult to comment on your specific case without reviewing your medical notes and knowing which ward you stayed on. We would welcome the opportunity to talk to you in person and so if you wished to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on free phone 0800 073 0510 we would happily look into the issues you have raised.
