"No help with my hyperparathyroidism"

About: Princess Royal Hospital / Clinical oncology

(as the patient),

2 1/2 years ago I had a blood test which showed slightly elevated calcium and elevated pth... more blood tests over a period of a year showed the same.

Finally referred to endocrine...had dexa scan..showed borderline bone diminishing...ultrasound of kidneys which showed calcium build ups which on next scan had gone. Had a few specialist scans on my neck which showed slight enlargement of left parathyroid gland but no obvious tumor.

Been left to just be monitored now even though I display and live with many symptoms making my life a misery
