Anything else?
I had an appointment in June 2013. I was absolutely appalled with the appointment. The doctor was very dismissive right from the beginning saying they had no evidence of me ever being diagnosed with the medical conditions which I mentioned to them along with other neurologist's that I have seen provided by lancashire teaching hospitals trust. I had a feeling they weren't going to be interested in helping me so I attended the appointment with a small concise file with details of investigations done and results and diagnosed conditions. First they explained to me my symptoms are real, then they had a read through my medical file went from it's related to diabetes, then to vascular disease, then a peripheral neuropathy then to a never disorder. I was absolutely disgusted with the way the appointment went. I previously saw another doctor who also said they had no evidence of what I was telling them. I saw this doctor in Blackburn but the service is provided by lancashire teaching hospitals trust. When I asked them had they been through my medical file they shrugged me off by saying how you seen the size of your file. The first doctor said all my medical problems are related to the fact that I have no children what utter rubbish is that I think they need to get out more. When I make complaints all they do is make up lies and offer apologies but these consultants have no clue that I always records my consultations be it neurologists or any other field of medicine. I had an appointment with a nephrologist who failed to understand why a doctor would say something like that to me. The nephrologist found all my letters in under two minutes. They also wanted me to have a biopsy which the nephrologist said was not needed. The neurologists are not even good in neurology but they will jump the gun and blame other specialists for making wrong diagnosis.
"Neurology."
