Was sent for an outpatients MRI scan on Thursday appointment on time and was met on reception by very helpfull and friendly lady the nurse came to take me for the Scan but explained everything before hand and was told it would take 2 and a half hours but I could stop at any time I was very nervous but she was very understanding and sympatetic I got through 1 and a half hours of scan and had had enough could not stand to spend another hour in their with contrast dye nothing was a problem went back to reception to find my husband who had gone to move car and was again very impressed with lady on reception very helpfull and understanding my only fault I can say is that the mobile MRI scanner did not have any headphones with music only had foam ear plugs which were not very good as machine was very noisy so thankyou to the general hospital staff for getting me through this procedure
