About: Goole & District Hospital (Acute) / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I needed a knee operation back in October 2005. My GP explained that I could go to my local Hull hospital (but there's be a long wait) or I could go to Goole (a small hospital 20 miles away). The wait for Goole was very low - two months later I had had the operation, I was home within a few days and was cared for throughout my visits extremely well. Well done Goole - credit to the NHS
