What I liked
I was admitted to QE Kings Lynn as an emergency very early on 8th October 2007. I had extreme abdominal pain and was beside myself with pain and fear. From the moment that the ambulance crew arrived, they were fast efficient and reassuring, even keeping me informed of our progress toward the Hospital.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a team of professionals who worked on relieving my pain immediately. The speed, competence and efficiency shown was remarkable! In spite of my noisy reaction to the pain, they managed to draw information from me in a calm, soothing and sympathetic way. Within a short time, I was pain free and in a ward. I am very grateful for their efforts and much reassured that the negative comments that are so often associated with the NHS do not typify the medical staff at the QE!
Thank you.
