My opinion of how I was treated in the Charles Clifford, was not a favourable one. I felt that the staff did not show me much care, or welcome, on an initial visit. I was extremely nervous, but was not put at ease in any way or forum, I could have been invisible. The consultant was brusque, and I thought that my visit did nothing to make me feel happier about my teeth........ I was led to believe that in this hospital, the care would be next to none. I believe the consultant was foreign, and I found them difficult to understand, did not want to constantly say that I could not understand them. I was disappointed, and felt that the consultant did not tell me anything that I did not know already. I did not feel at all comfortable. It was a wasted journey in my opinion. Also I thought one of the most dismal, cold hospitals that I have ever been to..... the toilet was in a disgusting state.
