"Series of exercises I was given over my three visits improved my pain"

About: Community Health Services / Community physiotherapy

(as the patient),

I was referred to the physiotherapy department after treatment from my GP had not been successful.

My GP arranged the referral and two weeks later I received my first appointment. I was pleasantly surprised as I expected a longer wait.

My therapist was Emma, who explained thoroughly what the treatment would be, after examining me fully.

The series of exercises I was given over my three visits improved my pain significantly, combined with the medication from the GP.

At all times I was treated with respect and care and over my three sessions, felt confident my condition would improve if I followed the advice given by Emma. I was even shown a skeleton to help me understand.

Thank you Emma. I will continue with your advice.
