The doctor not very understanding did not want to listen to my problems, just wanted me in and out of his clinic asap i had to telephone his secretary 15 times to ask why i had no word back as to where i go from my clinic appointment it took several weeks to see the docotor again that was a waste of time. The colorectal doctor said i would need to see the speciality nurse for this department i have waited 5 to 6 months to see her she has a bad attitude problem also, i have been given conflicting information either by telephone or a letter. I am so sick of the freeman hospital and the staff listen dont judge sorry im not a star patient for you.

Thank you for posting your feedback on NHS Choices. We are very sorry to learn that you were unhappy with the care delivered by the Colorectal Surgical team. The Trust strives to deliver the highest standard of care and patient experience at all times and we are saddened to hear you felt our communication with you in regards to written information and follow up appointment was not timely and therefore frustrating. It is also disappointing to hear you felt the approach of the Specialist Nurse was less than satisfactory. The Trust aims to “put the patient at the heart of everything we do” and would like to apologise that this was not your experience. Please accept our apologies for this level of service.
