I can imagine that it must have been a very distressing time for you all and I am really pleased that this was helped by the care and support you received from the team. I know the team will be really pleased to read your comments. They work really hard to ensure that this is the experience of all the patients that they care for and they will really appreciate that you have taken the time to share your positive experience. Just as a footnote - I did respond to your post on this website last week. I stayed late on Friday evening to ensure all responses were up to date. If patients and members of their family take the time to write I want to do all I can to respond in a timely manner. All replies were submitted however they have not as yet been recorded or approved by the NHS Choices moderating team - I understand they are currently investigating why this is the case. I have decided to rewrite my replies rather than observe any further delay in getting a response back to you. I'm sorry you haven't had an immediate reply as intended - it is frustrating for us an organisation and outwith our control unfortunately.
