"A joke"

Anything else?

I injured my knee playing basketball to the extent that I couldn't apply any pressure on the bad leg. I had the injury looked at by a nurse (not doctor, let alone specialist) who told me that "yes, it appears as though there is ligament damage". However, I was not allowed crutches as I was told "you can only have crutches if you've broken something". (My GP found this astonishing). The worst part of that is there was a room next to where I was seen to which had 20+ crutches leaning against the wall. I attempted to reason with the staff in order to grab a pair, but I was still not given crutches. I literally had to hop from one place to the next to get around. An utter joke. If you think you've busted your knee you're better off going to Lewisham or QMS.
