"Many grateful thanks to all who assisted me in my recovery."

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / General surgery

(as the patient),

My admission to surgical ward following infection of gallstone, pancreas and liver.

The care was very professional. Knowledge was excellent. The doctors were excellent.

My overall impression was everything was rushed, e. g. this bed was needed once we are stable, get us out.

Many grateful thanks to all who assisted me in my recovery.

Thank you for your comments in respect of your recent stay in Royal Albert Edward Infirmary and for taking the time to share these. It is pleasing to note that your care was very professional and that the treatment you received was excellent.

However it is disappointing that despite this you had the impression that everything was rushed. I am sorry that this was the case and will pass on your comments to the Division of Surgery for their reflection and consideration in the areas where they deliver specialist surgical care.

Kind regards
