It has become very easy to make appointments and to see your own doctor.
They have changed to a local telephone number, no premium lines.
There is an option to book your own appointment online.
The surgery opens late and repeat prescriptions can be ordered online.
The receptionists are constantly pleasant, helpful and unhurried.
It is always possible to see your own doctor or at least receive a call back from her. Last time this happened within half an hour and I was seen later that day.
Their service goes beyond the normal eg. I went to the wrong surgery by mistake but they would have arranged for me to see another doctor anyway. As it was not urgent I made another appointment but my doctor telephoned me in the meantime to see if she could help.
As a health care professional I have a critical eye but It is an excellent practice.
