"Staff at A&E: Service was superb"

(as the patient),

Following a telephone consultation with my GP's receptionist I was advised to attend North Tyneside General Hospital A&E department to check out a possible heart condition.

When I got there I was greeted by a very polite receptionist who advised that my partner and I went straight through to the clinic. We were then shown to a cubicle by a polite skilful nurse who immediately performed an ECG, blood pressure and body temperature and ensured that I was feeling comfortable. Within minutes I was seen by a senior nurse who put me further at ease. In addition to this I was seen by a charming doctor called Nigel who was excellent and informative with my partner and I.

Overall the whole service provision was superb, well done to A&E
