"Wonderful ambulance crew"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I had to call an ambulance after a chair I stood on broke, I fell and broke my right ankle and toes on my left foot.

I really want to say thank you to the paramedics that came out, I was scared and in considerable pain, they were so kind and reassuring. I appreciate that to some this was "only" a broken ankle but I was in so much pain and they were just the kind of people that you need.

Dear tiredmum

Thank you for taking the time to share your story, I really hope your bones are mending well, and that you are not in too much discomfort!

It is very rewarding to hear that our ambulance crews continue to provide the very best care to patients when they need it most. I will share your post with our staff and managers who, I'm sure, will very much appreciate your comments.

Thank you, again.

Laura.
