I attended my first chemotherapy clinic on Friday 28th June. The clinic on the 1st floor is bright, airy and cleanliness excellent. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmoshere is relaxed but efficient. A very professional team from Consultant, Staff Nurses, Nurses, Co-ordinators, receptionists all excellent. My apologies if I have missed anyone. On Monday 1st July I attended my first session of chemotherapy day ward on 6th Floor. My initial trepidation was unfounded. What a fantastic team of professionals. I quickly felt relaxed and everything was done that could be done to make me feel comfortable. The ward was bright, spotlessly clean. Snacks and drinks available and I met some wonderful fellow patients and Staff. The volunteer lady was a real gem. I want to make a special mention of the unit co-ordinators/administrator a really helpful, professional young man who made my Wife and I feel really welcome. I cannot praise all the team highly enough. Well done a real credit to the NHS.
