Anything else?
I had an eye problem went to my GP who wrote a letter to be examined. I have to get two buses as I live in Plumstead and as I am 69 is a bit of a way. It took over an hour to get there. I waited an hour to be assessed by a nurse (there only appeared to be one nurse) who basically gave me an eye test. Then she said there was no available doctor to see me that day as he had too many patients to see (again it seemed as if there was only one eye doctor. I didn't get home until 2.20 pm. I had had nothing to eat. I have high blood pressure, and felt quiet ill when I got home and still don't know whats wrong with my eye. I paid into the NHS for 44 years and this is the treatment I get. I don't blame the staff but it felt as if I was in a 3rd world country. P J Jones
