What could be improved
My grandmother was admitted onto ward F7, following an operation her ankle. When I arrived, my initial impression was not a very positive one-in the corridor leading up to the ward were buckets full of dirty bed linen, empty wheelchairs and beds blocking access, and no-one at the front desk to see us in. Admittedly, my grandmother looked relatively comfortable, but she complained to me that she had waited for about 20 minutes for a glass of water, and similar amounts of time to use the toilet. She also hadn't been washed for 3 days, and I found this quite infuriating. My overall view of the hospital was that it was quite unclean, and that the care my grandmother received was below acceptable.
