"Invaluable facility for Folkestone"

Anything else?

Have been several times for blood tests and outpatient appointments. Staff are always friendly, courteous and respectful as well as being thoroughly professional. Since the refurb it's always clean with an uncluttered, calming ambience and relatively short waiting times. Well done to the staff who operate the centre. Only minor drawback - which is not in the gift of the centre staff - is that certain services have been withdrawn back to William Harvey, causing some inconvenience. The review form needs a few mods! You have to select a department from either "Don't know" or "Physiotherapy"..... Also the "same sex accommodation" question isn't valid here, is it?

Response from Royal Victoria Hospital Folkestone

Hello Martin, thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Some of the services you mention are run by East Kent Hospitals (such as blood-testing, and out-patients) and we have shared your feedback with their Patient Experience Team, including about services being moved to William Harvey and the design of the review form. We run the walk-in centre, so please do contact us if you have any further comments. Best wishes Customer Care Team Kent Community Health NHS Trust Tel: 0300 123 1807 Email: kcht.cct@nhs.net Website: www.kentcht.nhs.uk
