Anything else?
Just before Xmas I was diagnosed with temporal haematoma and a ligation of arteriovenous fistula. In layman’s terms some sort of bleed on the brain from a burst vein (I think). I cannot praise the team highly enough. I initially made day care visits to Saraha B ward which was clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The surgical team that worked on me were all very professional and explained the full process of the operation I was to have, which I am pleased to say was a complete success. I can only comment on the care which I received, and what I witnessed during my stay at Queens, but in my view it was first class, due in no small part to the fantastic work of the consultant and his support team of doctors and the nursing staff. It is always easy to focus on the negatives that get reported in the press, but in conversation, I now defend the hospital and the care it provides citing my personal experience rather than hearsay. Once again, a huge thank you from me and my family to the consultant and all at Saraha B you literally did "save my life"
"Don't believe everything you hear in the press!!"
