"Great experience considering I got a tooth taken..."

About: Birmingham Dental Hospital

Anything else?

Well I arrived at 6:45am as previous reviews stated that you should arrive early and I highly recommend you do this as people were gathered around the entrance already and it quickly built up into a que by about 7:10am Doors opened at 7:30am and we all went in and got a ticket (I was 4) At around 8:40am I was called to book in with my name and details. At around 9:20 I was checked by a consultant who took about 1 min to check my wisdom tooth, ask me if I wanted it taken out and after my reply of "yes" asked me to wait in the waiting room At 9:30 a lady called me and escorted me to the 3rd floor where the procedure took place, in the 2 min lift journey she explained the procedure and side effects of the anasthetic she was really friendly and put my nerves at ease a little bit. I waited a further hour or so to be seen and the procedure was quick and easy and I even had my tooth wrapped in tissue and given to me as a "souvenir" lol I was out of there at about 11am :) It's a really good place and best of all the service that would have cost me £90 privately was done free by a really nice dentist. Get there early and you will have no issue with the service. The waiting time was the same as any other a&e department and if u have a smartphone, newspaper or in my case a random guy to talk to then time will pass by fairly quickly. Thank you very much NHS dental hospital and staff for relieving me of my tooth ache :)
