"Hospital Admission to leeds child in manchester "

I was under the care of the (camhs team Leeds ) child and adolescent mental health team and my doctor and psychiatric nurse decided that I needed immediate high secure help at a high secure unit in Manchester.

I arrived at the secure unit in Manchester and the place looked scary and made me feel 10x worse I had to be searched on entry to the ward which was understandable.

I had a bad few days on the ward and had this thought to harm my self when on the ward and managed to retrieve a knife from the kitchen area, so I started self harming with the knife and the first response team came to see me and see how they could help I got restrained by the hospital staff and this made me feel even worse and the police arrived to the ward and I ended up getting tazord by the police 2 times in the chest and stomach and I ended up fitting on the floor and had to stay in and holding assessment room on another ward this was scary I had no toilet and was made to use a bed pan.

I was in there for 72 hrs and then a doctor finally came to see me. I asked to be discharged due to not being on a mental health section
