"TRAQS informed of referral after appointment"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

Referred by GP for physiotherapy. Attended first session with physiotherapist.

Subsequently TRAQS informed me that I had been referred to physiotherapist! !

From what you say it appears that a duplicate referral for you to receive treatment may have been initiated by your GP Practice. If this is the case I can only apologise for any confusion but I would like to point out that TRAQS only gets involved with a patient following a referral from their GP. If the GP decides to lodge a duplicate referral with the relevant clinic then that does not follow the accepted procedure.

I am pleased that you have started your treatment path and hope you will feel the benefits in due course.
