About: The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore)

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was in for three weeks following an op to fuse my spine on Jackson Burrows ward and the care was faultless. The nursing staff are amazing and work so hard.

What could be improved

The hospital is incredibly run down and not that clean. It really needs updating.

Also the food was completely inedible. I really dont think much of the Steamplicity menu!

I did find some of the nurses to be very rough when I was in a great deal of pain, which upset me.

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate your positive feedback about the efforts of our nursing staff (although we are concerned by the care by some) and will pass it on to the ward. We are currently pursuing a redevelopment of the hospital so that we can provide a modern environment for our patients. the hospital has recently undergone a deep clean and we constantly strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and th maintain our excellent record of low infection rates. Regarding the food we offer, it is under regular review and we seek to improve both quality and range.

Thank you again for taking the time to post your comments on this website.
