"possible stroke"

About: Calderdale Royal Hospital

Anything else?

my huband was sent to the hailfax royal by our doctor as they thought he had had a mini stroke due to his symtoms..the doctor said that he would have to have a scan on his head to get to the route of his problem...the hospital took his blood pressure and a blood test..... they said his blood pressure was high (but it was normal when taken by our doctor) ..and his blood test came back fine...they told him to back to his doctor to have his blood pressure sorted out...but they did not give him a head scan....looks like to me that there was no communication between our doctor and the hospital..as it was not writen in his notes to have a head scan from the doctor.....and I could go on about other previous things about my husband and my brother...not much faith sorry to say

We are sorry to hear of your husband's disappointing attendance. Unfortunately, we are unable to comment on what information was provided to us or whether we were provided with an adequate background without knowing further details. If you husband would like us to look into this for him, he can contact our Patient Advice and Complaints Service on 0800 013 0018, or patientadvice@cht.nhs.uk.
