"Mother's eye operation: Why was she not seen when told?"

About: Broomfield Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as a relative),

My mother had an appointment today at 7-30 to have caterastrophic opp, her BP was taken it was a little high but alright, she was not seen until 6 hours later where her BP was to high, what do they think her BP will be after all this time.

I had to have 3days off, two days for pre med and 1 today and they refused to do it. Why was she not done at 7-30 which was the time she was told, what a carry on, on wonder the NHS is in trouble. Only 2 patients were seen from 7-30 until 2 o clock.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear your mother’s operation had to be cancelled.

Please contact me on 01245 514460 so that I can forward this to the correct department to get this resolved.

Many thanks

Helen West
