About: North Tyneside General Hospital

Anything else?

I have just spent six weeks in wards 5 and26 and have no complaints about either, you cannot help the noise at night or the delay in answering the bell after lights out,by reading other comments do people expect 5 star treatment in a very busy unit, all staff in were well manered and polite, a point which could not be made about some of the patients, my time was made more Mc Alpineby the attention of one nurse wh attended to my needs, thank you, there job is hard enough without the moaners and groaners which we come across every day. Thank you wards 5 and 26 for making my time aspleasant as possible Doug Mc Alpine

Dear Mr Mc Alpine, I do hope you are recovering well at home. Many thanks for your kind words on the quality of the orthopaedic service and the teams who cared for you during your six weeks at North Tyneside. Our staff work incredibly hard and strive to provide the highest quality of care every day - your feedback will mean a great deal to them, I will ensure it is passed on. With thanks and best wishes for your continued recovery, Annie. Annie Laverty - Director of Patient Experience.
