Carers Families and Friends Strategy Update 2015 -2018

We want to hear from you!

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust want to ensure that Carers, Families and Friends are valued, recognised and involved.

We want to listen to what you say and invite you to send in comments and feedback about our Carers Families and Friends strategy to tell us what we should include in the new version.

What do you want us to work on together for 2015-2018?

There are a number of issues that carers, families and friends feel have not been addressed yet. The updated strategy aims to tackle those. We would like to thank you all in advance for helping us.

Complete the questionnaire using the strategy document for reference by December 19th 2014 to: Jane.danforth@nottshc.nhs.uk

Carers Families & Friends Strategy Review

Section 1 covers the Mission and Aims of the strategy.

Are you happy with the aims?

Do you have any suggestions for how they might be improved?

Section 2 sets the context for the strategy

Can this section be improved?

Think about how can it make sure that all carers, families and friends in contact with Trust services recognise that the strategy applies to them?

Section 3 covers the main areas for action that flow from the strategy aims. Work began on these in 2012 and progress has been made in many areas

What do you think should be the priority actions going forward from 2015-2018 to make sure the aims are met?

Section 4 covers the mechanisms for monitoring and reviewing the strategy.

How do you think we can improve on the way we do this in the future?

Optional: Is there anything you would like to add?

Please bear in mind that it may not be possible for all comments to be included in the new strategy but we want to hear your suggestions and ideas. We will tell you the reasons if we don’t include your comments.

Thank you for your time and input, we value your contributions to improve our partnerships with carers families and friends at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

The feedback received will be published on the Trust Website and on a new blog in January 2015
