All stories on Care Opinion are valuable and each experience is an opportunity for learning, reflection and potential change. Stories on our platform are public and easy to share across staff in all services and beyond. One of the real benefits of a Care Opinion subscription is that staff feel closer to the experiences of the people using their service. We know from research and feedback, the powerful impact on staff culture and we are calling this the “Ripple Effect”. Staff can celebrate the thanks from patients, users and carers and know what went well, and see where things could have been different.

At the third session of Care Opinion’s 2023 Spring Online Conference, hosted by Tim Hunt and Emma Noonan, we explored this very topic, with our guest speakers:

Conor Campbell – Safe and Effective Care Senior Manager, South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust

Lisa Townsend – Interim Patient Experience Manager, Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Teresa Sturm - Patient Experience Matron (Northern Services), Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation

Trust Victoria Sullivan – Care Opinion Lead , NHS Tayside

Angie McManus – Allied Health Professions Lead, Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership

We heard some great presentations from our speakers, and don’t worry if you weren’t able to join us on the day, as you can watch a recording below:
