Anything else?
I was seen almost right away on a Saturday which is a great development in hospital surgeries and I hope that other follow ups will be on a Saturday because with this knee and not being a driver, living in a village outside Harlow etc I will find it so much easier to attend the clinic on a Saturday in Harlow when my husband is home. The doctor was a good listener and was clear in his appraisal. I am to have an MRI scan. I dont suppose those are done on a Saturday )o: I was very quickly given a knee brace to support my knee cap by an orthopaedic assistant who had a good 'bedside manner' but it only just went under my trousers. It actually hurt me more to wear it as the hole kept slipping over my knee and digging in half way. Before I left I asked if the appointment would be in Harlow..i hope so because getting to Epping will be even more of a struggle..I maybe have to debate that one later. Walking is not causing constant pain but the silly walk I have to do to avoid the knee clunking bones together is very tiring and if I dont the leg fixes and I keel over especially on the very irregular walkways in Old Harlow . Saturday clinics are the best thing since sliced bread (or sliced knees)!
