Investigation of sore/swollen toe. I was able to see my GP promptly. She advised taking blood samples, referred me for an xray and gave me a self referral form for podiatry.
I had bloods taken the following week and the x-ray appointment was a couple of weeks after that.
I then had a telephone call from the podiatrist a week after my x-ray. I was very pleased with the timely and thorough care I received from start to finish for an issue that was not urgent.
