About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiology (X-rays and Scans)

(as a relative),

My Mum who has dementia was receiving an ultrasound and the Senior Healthcare Support Worker (sorry forgot her name) made my Mum feel at ease. She respected my Mum's dignity, was non judgemental and had a nice manner.  The Radioography consultant was also nice.  My Mum came away feeling it was much better experience than she thought it would be.  So thanks.

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know what a positive experience your mum while she was at her ultrasound appointment. Dear HanJess

thank you for taking the time to post such a positive comment on care opinion. It was lovely to read that your mum was very well supported with her individual care needs and received person centred care whilst she was in the department from both the Senior HCSW and Consultant.

It was really heartening to read that your mum's appointment went better than she expected

Positive comments received about the care we provide is such a morale boost for staff, I will share your post with the staff in the department.
