I have just finished having treatment and wanted to leave some feedback for the teams involved.
Pilgrim colorectal CNS's - really supportive and efficient along the journey from diagnosis to treatment, a great resource. Special mention for Debra who has been so helpful with support and resolving an issue for me.
Lincoln - Dr Prash who reassured me and made me feel so supported, and the radiotherapy team, simply amazing. Open, honest, compassionate, demonstrating trust values on every occasion. Plus, an efficiently run service, demonstrated consistently over 29 visits. Special thanks to the amazing Macmillan radiographer Melanie - your thoughtful and supportive person-centred care made a huge difference, thank you! And receptionist Michaela - your cheerful attitude made a difference.
Ingham suite - kind and compassionate care when I had IV chemo, thank you. A suggestion for improvement - please look at your process for arranging weekly chemo TTO's. On 2 of 5 occasions, I had to wait 3-4 hours for my tablets as they weren't ready, although my attendance time for radiotherapy was scheduled weeks ahead. My bloods were done two days prior, so I would think there could be a better process to ensure that the tablets were ready? I had to travel a significant distance each day, so these waits were very difficult from a symptom perspective. Improving this process to synchronise with radiotherapy times could make a significant difference to patients.
Overall, a fantastic service from top quality professionals and teams. Thank you all.
