Excellent midwifery care

About: Maternity care / 2 East Midwifery Led Unit (MLU) Maternity care / Delivery suite

(as a service user),

I wanted to say thank you to the midwives in craigavon area hospital, particularly jenny who helped deliver our little boy on 1.10.2022. She was a fantastic help and support as were all the midwives and doctors we met whilst on the midwifery led unit and in the delivery suite. The care they provided to me meant I had a better experience than I could have ever anticipated. 

Also thank you to Louise in the community midwifery team who came out to us at home. Your kindness and supportive attitude made such a difference in those first few challenging postpartum days. 

We can never express enough gratitude. The midwives are angels.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy. I am pleased to hear that you have had a really positive experience in Craigavon Area Hospital. The multi-disciplinary team work well together to ensure new mothers get the best advice and support possible. I will pass on all your kind comments to the rest of the team.
