"Helpful and supportive midwives"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as a service user),

8 weeks on from the birth of my baby girl, I wanted to thank Mary, the midwife who administered my induction and was with us throughout the majority of my labour. Mary listened and understood my preferences for my labour despite it being more medicalised than I would have opted for. She was fantastic from start to finish and even popped into the ward to say hello when on shift the following evening.

On discharge the Cherry team midwives followed up at home and they were so caring, helpful and supportive, especially Lindsey the midwife.

Keep up the good work Forth Valley!

Dear SBT1989

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter and thank you so much for taking the time to post this feedback.

I am very happy to hear that you were supported in your choices and felt listened to by the midwives.

I will ensure that this feedback is circulated with all maternity staff but in particular Mary, Lindsay and the cherry team.

I wish you well in the future.
