"I received first class care"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Cardiology Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Cardiothoracic Surgery Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / High Dependency Unit & Intensive Care Unit

(as the patient),

After many years of observation  at Forth Valley Royal Hospital I was finally admitted to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for minimally invasive heart surgery to repair the mitral valve.

I received excellent treatment at every stage of the procedure. I was admitted to Ward 102 and after 24 hours in IC, returned to Ward 102 where I was nursed until discharge.

At every stage I received first class care.

Dear Lornahappy

Thanks for letting us know about your experience with a procedure to repair your mitral valve. I am really pleased that after many years of observation, when the time came to intervene, you received great care from our partners in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. We have a great working relationship with the team in NHS Lothian and I know they'll be really pleased to read your feedback. Thanks again for sharing your kind words.

Berst wishes

Catherine
