"My daughter"

About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School

(as a parent/guardian),

My 9-year-old daughter was to attend the Glasgow Dental hospital for a filling on her back tooth. We weren’t sure how she would be.

We got sent for an X-ray, and this is when we discovered she is missing two adult teeth, and had a twisted adult tooth under the gum.

We have had three appointments so far, and every member of staff that she has come across has been amazing and patient with her.

Her appointment the other day, she had to get a back tooth out and I was a bit worried about how she would be, but the staff kept her calm and got the tooth out no problem.

Dear Lou john,

I am so very pleased that your daughter’s recent visit to Glasgow Dental Hospital was such a positive one. I hope your daughter is recovering following her recent tooth extraction.

I do understand you being a bit worried. Having a tooth filled or extracted can sometimes be challenging for a nine year old and her parent!

When patients have attended a number of appointments and leave the hospital feeling happy and reassured, our team are delighted.

Thank you for posting your feedback, I will certainly make sure that your kind comments are shared with all of the team involved.

Best Wishes, Fiona
