"Bad experience"

Don't be surprised to see the bad reviews. Today at 14:50 I visited the centre to ask about the procedure to get a sick note but the lady at the reception was not just unhelpful, she was rude. When I asked her something I didn't understand, she immediately said, I already told you this, and she repeated "I already told you this" five times in a very unpleasing tone. So what, if I asked you twice something I didn't understand? She behaved like she wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible, and let me mention this; the centre was empty and I was the only person waiting. This is not the only time it happened to me but the 3rd time I have witnessed this kind of behaviour by different receptionists at The Spitalfields Practice. I have never written reviews anywhere but places like health centres should not have this kind of environment. No one goes to a health centre/hospital with a healthy body and mind. I must confess that my GP is amazing, only the people at the reception, make it a very uncomfortable place to visit.

Thank you for your feedback. I am the joint acting GP lead at Health E1. We are so sorry to hear about your negative experience with some of the reception team. We just want to clarify firstly which practice you are reviewing. You mention The Spitalfields Practice in your review however this has come to Health E1-Homeless Medical Centre on Brick Lane. If this does refer to Health E1 practice we would love you to join our patient participation group so you can have direct input with our practice team to help us improve where needed. We will certainly make sure our practice team are aware of your experience and ensure our reception team make all our patients feel welcome and treated with respect and dignity at all times going forward.
