My Annual review with the MS nurse took place at the day services building at Coathill hospital in Coatbridge. When we arrived at the reception desk we were made very welcome and were shown to the Waiting room area.
The receptionist also informed the MS nurse that I had arrived.
At my appointment time Wendy the MS nurse showed my self and my wife into the room she was using. After introductions this was my first appointment with Wendy she went over my last review and asked how I was doing.
Wendy listened to what I had to say during my appointment and took notes when she thought it appropriate. Wendy was also happy to listen to my wife who is my main carer provider as well.
Wendy reassured me that even though this was my review that she is always at the end of the phone and I can contact her secretary about any issues and that she will get back to me as soon as possible.
I have to say that from the moment we arrived at the reception desk to the moment we left all the staff we encountered were very professional and a credit to the NHS.
