This is a follow-up to previous comments made by me regarding the Cardiology Department at the Borders General Hospital. I have now had a telephone conversation with a consultant who gave me the results of the investigative work that has been completed so far. She was very apologetic about the delay in providing information and has now arranged for further tests to take place within the next fortnight. So, I have no further complaint to make. I appreciate that the staff at the hospital are doing a difficult job in difficult circumstances but I have found this situation more difficult, both for me and for themselves, due to the fact that I could not seem to contact anyone and therefore could not obtain my test results until several weeks after the tests had taken place and only then because I made a fuss.
