I found all professionals from NHS Forth Valley very good, except my experience with physiotherapy. I went to the GP and asked for a referral for my lumbar and my neck (which I have 4 herniated disks, MRI done abroad before I moved to the UK). My complaint was a lot of pain on both locations and numbness on both hands.
I waited 8 months for my first appointment to have two things happen
1) The referral was only made for my neck and there was nothing they could do about my lumbar (I am 100% sure it was for both, especially because when I went to the GP my main complain at that moment was actually the pain on my lumbar);
2) They said regarding my neck: I can't help you, gave me recommendations for my numbness on my hands like, Stop driving, Stop drawing, Don't bend your arm, (how exactly will I not bend my arm?).
They never ever even put their hand on me to examine my neck and lumbar, all examination was done by a student on first appointment and the physiotherapist never checked if the student had done everything right. I just looked for a private chiropractor.
