About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Emergency Medicine General Practices in Grampian

(as a relative),

My elderly father had been staying with me for a break, following sudden death of my Mum.

He developed a complication of his long-standing chest condition.

My GP surgery (Linkwood Medical) saw him within an hour, and referred him to the medical team at Dr Grays.

We attended A&E, where we were treated with the utmost kindness  sensitivity & professionalism. 

Dad was assessed, treated & discharged with a follow-up plan & medication.

I cannot praise the staff involved enough. Dr Packham (in person), Dr Simpson (on the phone advice) & the wonderful receptionist at Linkwood Medical.

Dr Louisa & Consultant Physician (sorry I neglected to get your name) Medical team, Marie on reception at A&E, Staff Nurses, Ian, Carol, Andrew, Jan, Stuart & Dr Strachan. SCN Karen, you have a fabulous team, Dad especially enjoyed telling you about his lifetime in farming. Forgive me if I've forgotten any names of those caring for Dad.

Dear Wood22,

On behalf of the Emergency Department and the medical team here at Dr Gray's I'd like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It's lovely to hear that your father was cared for with speed, kindness and great professionalism from all involved.

I'll be sure to share this with all of those named in your message and the wider team. I hope you dad is continuing to recover well and doesn't have cause to visit us again anytime soon although I'm sure the team will be delighted to listen to more farming tales if he's ever in need of services in the future.
