"Lung nurse specialist GRI"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Respiratory Medicine (Wards 2, 6,7 10 & 16)

(as a relative),

Michelle, lung nurse specialist, has been at my mum's side since she 1st became unwell over a year ago. My mum recently got diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and Michelle has been at the end of the phone at all times.

She always takes time to come out to the clinic waiting room to say hello to her patients and check up on them. Honestly, without someone like Michelle I think that us as a family would have really struggled without the help, advice and care Michelle has given throughout my mum's treatment.

So just want to let Michelle know we really appreciate everything she has done for us and my mum.

Dear Jomcken533

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such lovely feedback in regards to you and your mum's experience of visiting the Respiratory Medicine Department of the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

I was sorry to read your mum was recently diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. This must be an extremely difficult time for you and all the family.

It was however great to hear of the great support and advice that Michelle and the team have provided your mum and the family in your time of need.

I will be delighted to pass on your thanks to Michelle and the team who I'm sure will be touched to hear she has been able to make a difference while your mum has been under her care.

Kind regards

Kevin
