"CPAP machine"

About: General practices in Greater Glasgow & Clyde New Victoria Hospital / Outpatients

(as a service user),

Using CPAP machine since may 2015 from New Victoria Hospital Glasgow, I have been desperate for spare pipes for ages and now I get the warning sign 'motor life extended, please contact supplier'. Phoned repeatedly no answer, left  messages no reply.

GP said keep phoning hospital, it's not an emergency until i'm nearly dead. So just waiting. Should be an easy process. What is going on?

I can't get past the receptionist, doctors seem happy to allow them to push away those needing urgent help.

Dear FelixtheCat

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to read about the difficulties you are experiencing with the replacement parts for your CPAP machine. I am unsure which Clinic you are attending at the New Victoria Hospital, would you be able to get in touch with your name, date of birth and the clinic you attend and I will get you an update. If you can email PatientExperience@ggc.scot.nhs.uk

Thank you

Nicole
