"Comments made in the recovery room"

I can't fault the care I received.

However when I was in recovery coming around from round from my procedure, I could clearly hear someone speaking about another patient in a derogatory manner.

The patient was making quite a bit of noise whilst coming around from a procedure.

The staff member in question referred to the patient by name, which I heard clearly, several times- and they made several comments about the patient that were said in a derogatory manner.

Later the same person also made further comments about the same patient that were made in a very caustic and sarcastic manner.

This behaviour was unprofessional and unacceptable.  Not what I would hope for in a member of staff.
