"Fantastic care & wonderful people"

About: Ealing Hospital / Accident and emergency Ealing Hospital / Cardiology London Ambulance Service NHS Trust

(as the patient),

I wish to say a sincere Thank you so much for the wonderful care I received during emergency admission at Ealing Hospital in Oct and subsequent care in ward 4 South.

Ambulance paramedics recognised the urgency and A&E staff immediately responded. We expect experienced senior people to respond as they did. Junior staff were equally impressive, from the insertion of first needle to the calm of the ladies who appeared to download metrics from my chest loop recorder. All were magnificent, doing their jobs under pressure. I am lucky to be able to write this as a small token of my appreciation.

I also wish to highlight the subsequent care in ward 4 South, and the good people in the Cardiology department who performed my Angiogram and Echocardiogram.

During 5 days I received unfailing professional care delivered with a smile, friendly words, patience and compassion. From Prof Rosen, his colleagues, the ward nurses, folks who took my blood, monitored blood pressure, responded immediately when the overhead alarm went off - day or night - and the cleaners & dinner lady with tasty & nutritious food. Too many names to mention.

I am humbly grateful and wish you all the very best.
