"Grampian Gynaecology Waitlist"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Gynaecology Services NHS Grampian

(as the patient),

I've been on the gynaecology waitlist for 60 weeks now, after being told it would be 42 weeks, then 50 weeks, then 58 weeks. I've just phoned the women's day clinic and now have been told that it's a 72 week wait!

Good morning SB0922, it would be difficult for me to be able to respond to individual questions around waits within Gynaecology, but if you are able to call our Administrator on 01224 554904 and give some details, we can look into this. Unfortunately we are continuing to have longer waits for routine patients as our urgent and cancer patients are being prioritised, but appreciate for patients that they need a clear timescale of expected appointment/admission.
