"Message to Kirklands General Enquiries Line not being actioned"

About: Kirklands Hospital NHS Lanarkshire

(as the patient),

My last Pneumococcal vaccination was in 2014. On realising it needed to be updated, I eventually found out that it would need to be arranged by Kirklands via Monklands switchboard.

The General Enquiry Line you're put through to has never, in my experience, been answered. I have a total of 4 messages & never been called back or had an appointment for the vaccination. I didn't keep a note of the 1 call, I had no reason to think it would be listened to & acted upon.

I left a 2nd message, and I don't know where to go from here. But since I have an autoimmune condition I need to take all precautions available.  If there's another way to get this organised (GP can't do it) then someone needs to tell me. I'm totally frustrated.

Update posted by Madge51 (the patient)

I rang the number provided & was told it is Corporate.

The person who took my call said they'd pass my enquiry to the correct department. Still not heard from them. I'm at risk until I get the Pneumococcal Vaccination. Why is this so difficult?
