What I liked

Excellent grades because from admission to discharge this was the case.

The specialist nursing team, and medical team on the day were friendly, charming, super-efficient and could not be faulted. The atmosphere of calm efficiency made the whole experience brilliant and virtually pain-free; very nearly enjoyable.

What could be improved

The first nurse I met seemed far from competent; generally surly & uncommunicative & very confused about my medication. In fact my discharge was delayed (possibly as a result of an "unusual" final ECG they'd had taken in a somewhat slap-dash manner) & the loss of some notes.

If patients could be kept aware of reasons why there is a delay to their discharge it would help.

Very good to hear of the 'atmosphere of calm efficiency', and apologies that this was slightly marred by other things. We are trying to improve our processes, and to see things from the patient's point of view.
